Bel Canto Chorus is a newly-established ladies choir based in Sonning.
We are based in Sonning, Berkshire and hold rehearsals on a Monday evening. Our repertoire is mainly classical with some folk song and spiritual arrangements. Bel Canto Chorus formed in March 2008 and we are continuing to increase our membership. Last term we had 28 members and at the first rehearsal of the Autumn term we welcomed 11 more ladies. We have plans to grow even more. Whether or not you are an experienced singer or you have sung in the past and wish to take it up again, we are always seeking new members for the choir and would like to hear from you if you are interested in joining. We held our first rehearsal on 31 March 2008, some great singing followed by a glass of bubbly to celebrate. We all enjoy singing and Nicky ensures the rehearsals are interesting and fun. Our rehearsal hall is located in Sonning-on-Thames, Berkshire - a location selected for our intended membership across Reading/Maidenhead area (Woodley, Wokingham, Wargrave, Reading, Henley, Maidenhead, reading, Charvil, Hurst, etc).
